RULES AND REGULATIONS OF THE PUTRA® GREEN RUN 2018 (PGR2018)

There will strictly be no refunds available if the PGR2018 is cancelled for reason of force majeure i.e. due to occurrence of incidents that are beyond the control of the Organiser or acts of God which renders it impossible or unsafe to hold the PGR2018.

After registration, there will be no fee refund for a Participant who does not eventually take part in the PGR2018, for any reason whatsoever.

A Participant is strictly not allowed to transfer his or her race bib to another party.

Any Participant who commences before the actual start time of the race category for which he or she is registered will be disqualified. The start time for the respective race categories can be found on the Official Website of the PGR2018.

Category: 12km – 8.00 am

Category: 5km & 3km (Fun Run) – 8.10 am

A Participant who does not start within the time given from his or her respective flag off point (12km & 5km) will be disqualified and, for safety reasons, may not be allowed to start.

Whilst reasonable precautions will be taken by UPM to ensure the Participants’ safety, Participants take part in the PGR2018 at his or her own risk. UPM will not be responsible or held liable for any injury or death howsoever arising from training for or during participation in the PGR 2018. Participants are strongly encouraged to consult his or her medical practitioner prior to registration and before the actual race day.

A Participant must retire from the race immediately if required to do so by any member of the UPM’s official medical staff, race director, referee and/or security officer for any reason whatsoever, including but not limited to the reasons stated in these rules and regulations.

Pets, bicycles, in-line skates, prams, push carts, shoes with built-in or attached rollers and any other wheel-run objects are not allowed on the race route (12km and 5km Category only). Only official race and medical vehicles are allowed on these race routes.

However, as for the 3km Category (Fun Run), bicycles, in-line skates, prams, push carts, shoes with built-in or attached rollers and any other wheel-run objects are allowed on the race route. UPM will not be responsible or held liable for any injury or death howsoever arising from using these wheel-run objects in the PGR 2018.

UPM will not be responsible for any loss and/or damage, personal or otherwise, to the belongings and items deposited at the event bag storage facility. Only the bag given during the Race Pack Collection can be used for the bag deposit. Any other bag will be rejected. UPM also reserves the right to check any item or baggage deposited.

UPM reserves the right to use any photographs, motion pictures, recordings, or any other media records (including those displaying the Participants) of the PGR 2018, for any legitimate purpose, including commercial advertising, and the Participants hereby consents to any and all such use.
