About PUTRA® GREEN RUN 2018
Putra® Green Run 2018 (PGR2018) is a Green Charity project to allow UPM to raise funds to implement various green sustainability projects, primarily in providing facilities related to recycling, tree planting, green education and other related activities;
It is also an awareness-raising running event aimed at educating the community in embracing and cultivating green conservation and sustainability practices. The programme will introduce UPM as an edu-tourism destination by highlighting the various exciting green facilities and environments, thereby educating the public on the importance of conservation and preservation of a more sustainable environment;
The organisation of a large-scale event at the university level targets 3000 participations from people from all walks of life and this programme will be further livened by exhibitions, physical activities, health examinations and cancer screenings, agricultural product exhibitions and other activities that benefit participants and visitors; and
PGR2018 is also one of UPM's Corporate Social Responsibility projects which focusses on green sustainability goals, particularly in raising public awareness towards a ‘Sustainable Lifestyle’ and ‘Green for Life’.

CAR PARK AND ROAD CLOSURE ANNOUNCEMENT
CAR PARK
Participants are allowed to park their cars at the UPM Banquet Hall parking area or at the Deputy Vice Chancellor (Research and Innovation) building.
ROAD CLOSURE
The entrance of UPM (if coming through Jalan Stadium UPM) will be opened from 6.00 am until 7.30 am only. The gate will be closed to all vehicles to allow for the running event to proceed. The gate will be reopened after 11 am.
RACE KIT COLLECTION
Dear Runners,
We are looking forward to passing your Race Kit to you.
Date: 25 & 26 September 2018
Time: 10.00 am - 8.00 pm
Venue: Foyer Galeri Putra®, Bangunan Canselori Putra®, UPM
To collect your race kit, you must bring the printout of your confirmation slip and your IC/passport/UPM student card. You may also appoint a representative to collect your race kit on your behalf. The representative must present the following:
• Printout of your confirmation slip
• Letter of authorisation signed by you
